Completing the application form is the first step towards gaining employment at St Paul’s Community Development Trust.
To present yourself with the best possible chance of gaining an interview, please consider to the following guidelines: –
- Ensure your application is returned by the closing date and time specified.
- Read the Job Description and Person Specification thoroughly before you begin and demonstrate how your skills and experience match those specified ‘Essential’ in the Person Specification.
- Use examples from your lifetime experiences and achievements to demonstrate that you have the necessary skills for the post. Your experience could be from home, school, previous/current employment, voluntary work or work experience.

Job Purpose and Description: | |
To deliver services in the community which promote child development, and to undertake mandatory visits and development checks. To support parents who have under 5s with SEND needs ensuring inclusive practice and signposting to additional specialist support as required. Experience of undertaking outreach work within the community and of working with SEND needs and their families is essential along with NVQ 3 Children’s Care Learning & Development or equivalent. Please note, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake Training in order to carry out mandated development checks. | |

Working as part of the nursery staff team to deliver best practice at St. Paul’s Nursery, promoting the setting aim for children to happy, confident and independent. Share the key person role for a group of children to ensure that children feel secure, their individual needs are met and strong parent partnership is a priority. Experience in an early years setting working with ages 0-5 yrs is essential along with Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent. | |
