This group is for parents with children aged 18 months to 3 years who maybe experiencing delays with their speech and language development.

Communication is an important skill for life. During the toddler years, between 18 months and 3 years, children’s babble develops into words and sentences. Playing together, singing songs and telling stories helps children to learn new sounds and new words.

Toddler Talk helps parents and children to:

  • Learn new songs.
  • Play together with others.
  • Listen to new stories.

Toddler Talk will help parents to:

  • Know more about how speech develops, and at what age.
  • Learn more about what to do at home to help your child’s speech.
  • Know what to do and who to speak to if you have concerns about your child’s speech.
