
Here at St Paul’s Trust we have training facilities available delivering courses to staff and professionals from Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Our qualified tutors ensure that at all attendees are engaged through the delivery of interactive sessions giving you the knowledge and skills to meet the subject area.
The maximum number of attendees for any of our courses is 20 to ensure that everyone attending is able to gain the most from the sessions.

This interactive course is necessary for existing Designated Safeguarding Leads, designed to refresh and update knowledge on the Early Help and Child Protection Procedures. Updated in line with ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ 2021.
The course covers current legislation that underpins practice and involves exercises and collaborative group work using case studies and Serious Case Reviews to support learning.

This interactive 2-day course will qualify you with the necessary knowledge required to be a competent Safeguarding Lead in your settings.
You will understand your responsibility as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns and be able to follow the Early Help and Child Protection procedures with confidence.
The course has been revised to ensure is includes up to date legislation that underpins practice and involves exercises and collaborative group work using case studies and serious case reviews to support learning.

This interactive course is for anyone working with adults who needs a Level 2 understanding of Safeguarding Adults at Risk of Harm.
This course covers the underpinning legislation, including The Care Act & The Mental Capacity Act, the 6 principles of Safeguarding; recognising risk and the 10 types of Abuse; making a referral and what to do if you have concerns about a person in a position of trust.
The training will be delivered via Zoom and includes collaborative group work.
